Working for our blue chip client you will be responsible for the delivery of a world class processing service for accounts payable, payments and expenses and to lead a process assurance and helpdesk team focused on process efficiency and accuracy.
Key Accountabilities:
• Ensure that finance processing capabilities are continuously delivered
• Ensure a robust controls framework and ethos in the end to end procure to pay processes
• Build the financial operations team, ensure that new processes are effectively migrated in, and ensure that process improvement and standardisation is delivered
• Develop the financial operations team capability and encourage cross functional working
• Deliver and maintain a improvement and KPI driven team that focuses on process efficiency and accuracy
• Effectively communicate and build relationships with the wider business and external suppliers.
Experience:
• Experience of implementing and utilising process management metrics within an organisation
• Experience in running high volume transactional process teams
• A strong track record of managing and driving performance in teams
• Experience in using process analysis and improvement methods
• Change management experience in terms of driving through best practice in terms of organisation processes and systems
• Experience of designing and operating a robust financial controls framework
• Experience of ERP systems (ideally SAP)
