A prestigious and leading finance firm are looking for Tax Technicians to join them for an initial couple months on a temporary basis, although this will be with a view to a permanent opportunity. The role is paying £14k to £22k depending on experience.
The role will encompass client facing activity on behalf of the firm and the duties will entail:
* Technical research and attending meetings with senior staff
* Planning, researching and tailoring ideas to clients' needs and drafting client correspondence
* Establishing and developing third party relationships such as with the Inland Revenue
* Working with the client and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs to obtain information and reach conclusions on tax enquiries
* Ensuring the Tax compliance process runs smoothly
* Dealing with issues that crop up in other countries where co-ordination with the overseas network is crucial
Person Specification:
* You must have the focus and commitment necessary for success in the ATT and potentially CTA professional qualifications.
* Strong communication skills
If successfully offered a permanent opportunity and after gaining 12 months practical experience in the role, you will be able to study towards the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) qualification, which could potentially lead to study towards becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
