Reporting to the Accountant you will join a small team of accounts assistants at the West Bromwich site and be responsible for a variety of accounting activities. These activities will include but by no means be limited to bank postings/reconciliations, calculation of accruals and prepayments, fixed asset accounting, balance sheet reporting and various ad hoc work as requested by the Accountant.
Essentially you will have experience of conducting similar duties in a time pressured accounting environment. If you are working towards a professional qualification such as AAT or equivalent it would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential. Equally essential is the need to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, high numeric skills and exceptional organisational skills.
