My client, a highly reputable international organisation, requires a qualified Assistant Financial Controller (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) to join their finance function. With a salary of up to £45k + benefits and succession planning in place, this is an exciting role with genuine career progression.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Financial Controller in controlling the expense and income streams of the business
- Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Performing monthly reviews of journals and other key financial information
- Maintaining and updating internal controls (SOX experience would be beneficial)
- Analysis and reconciliation of sales revenues / cost of sales.
- Working with both finance and non finance individuals to drive initiatives
- Inventory control including support of stock-counts
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Excellent planning & organisational skills
- An ability to work under pressure
- Self motivated and able to act on own initiative
You will need to be a qualified accountant. You will have a minimum of 2-3 years PQE and will ideally have worked within a Manufacturing / Automotive / Engineering environment.
