My client requires a Financial Controller to lead their finance team. Reporting to the Group Finance Director you will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with proven leadership and management experience in a similar role. This Financial Controller position is paying up to £45k + benefits
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Management of the finance team
Management & preparation of the annual statutory accounts
Timely production of detailed monthly management reports
Reviewing and reporting on financial performance including the provision of solutions for budget variance
Management of the planning & budgeting process
Ensuring the identification of financial risks
Designing, implementing and enhancing financial controls.
You will have experience of:
Managing and leading a team
Providing high quality management information
Cash management & forecasting
Budgeting
Dealing with complex VAT matters
In order to be a success in this Financial Controller role, you will possess an ability to plan and organise, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and a highly developed leadership skill set.
